Oh, the illustrious and highly acclaimed ALEX BOZAS is a wonder and a hero of Cape Town’s music and photography scene. Known by all, his praises sung in acoustically challenged halls across the country, and yet, as is unfortunately the case with far too many of Africa’s artists, struggling to put food in the kitty’s bowl. Nevertheless, against all odds, Alex perseveres and produces reliably fantastic music year after year. If you are not familiar with the sublime sonic swath of Benguela then you had best acquaint yourself, and keep an ear out for the next project that is bound, in all its glory, to tie your eardrums in knots and leave you quivering with delight.
